Police have launched an appeal to find two teenage girls who has gone missing in Dumfries and Galloway.

Jordan Pringle, 16, and 15-year-old Natasha Wallace were last seen in the Thornhill area on Thursday evening.

Officers said they believe the teenagers may have travelled outwith the region.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "They may have travelled outwith Dumfries and Galloway so please feel free to share as widely as possible. We need to ensure that they are safe and well.

"If you have know the whereabouts of the girls or have any information which would assist in locating them, then please contact Police on 101."
