Two teenage boys left permanently scarred after knife attack

Two teenage boys have been left permanently scarred after a man stabbed them in Uddingston on Friday night.
The boys, 16 and 17, were attacked at around 11.50pm after becoming involved in an altercation with the man in Second Avenue, in the Birkenshaw area.
They were rushed to Monklands Hospital for treatment.
The 17-year-old has been released but the 16-year-old remains in hospital, where staff describe his condition as stable.
The suspect is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, around 5ft 10in, of medium build and a gaunt appreance.
He was wearing dark clothes and had his hood up, and after the attack got into a silver coloured car and drove in the direction of Old Edinburgh Road, Viewpark.
Officers, who are treating the incident as serious assault, have been conducting door-to-door enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage.
Detective Christopher Smith said: "The motive for this attack is unknown and two young men will be left permanently scarred as a result of these assaults.
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and who may have seen or heard the altercation to contact us. Perhaps you saw the vehicle when it was driving off.
