A drug dealer caught with almost half a tonne of cannabis at his workplace has been jailed.
Martin Day, 41, was found in possession of 495kg of cannabis resin at a garage in Springburn, Glasgow, in January.
Police say the drugs have a street value of over £618,750.
At the High Court at Glasgow on Tuesday, Day was jailed for three years and four months after he pleaded guilty to the supply of cannabis.
Detective chief inspector Kenny Gray from the East Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit, said: "Day played a key role in the distribution of harmful drugs throughout the west and north of Scotland.
"This sentencing sends a clear message to those involved in serious and organised crime that this will not be tolerated, and we will identify those responsible for crimes of this nature, and take robust action.
"Tackling drugs remains a priority for Police Scotland and we will act on any intelligence we receive, and work with our partners at the Crown Office Procurator Fiscal Service to stop people benefiting from criminal activity."
