Man on trial accused of raping child as young as two
Hugh Sim is accused of a number of other offences against the same child, including sexual assault.
A man has been charged with raping a young child in Renfrew.
Hugh Sim appeared at the High Court in Glasgow on Tuesday charged with raping the child at a flat in Renfrew on an occasion between September 2012 and August 2015.
The girl was been aged between two and five at the time.
Sim is accused of a number of other offences against the same child, including sexual assault.
He is also accused of three separate indecent images offences between September 2012 and November 2015.
The 30-year-old pleaded not guilty and his bail has been continued until he stands trial next April.
