Motorist suffers head injuries after road rage attack

A man has been left injured after a road rage attack involving the driver of a white van.
The man was assaulted in Dumbarton at about 4.20pm on Monday.
Officers said a "road rage incident" took place involving the drivers of a silver Ford Focus and a white Peugot van on the A82 at the junction with Glasgow Road.
Both vehicles then continued along the road towards the town centre.
When they came to a stop, an altercation took place and the driver of the Focus suffered a head injury.
The victim reported the attack to the police and detectives are now trying to determine the full circumstances.
Detective inspector Andy Doherty from Clydebank CID said: "The road would have been busy around the time of this incident and I would ask anyone who witnessed what happened to get in touch.
