Second man charged with murdering father at Ayrshire house

A second man has appeared in court charged with murdering a father in Ayrshire.
Craig Munro is accused of killing 52-year-old John Smith, who was found critically injured at his home on MIsk Knowes in Stevenston on October 8.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he died three days later.
Munro appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Tuesday when he was charged with assault to severe injury and attempted murder.
The 30-year-old, of Glasgow, made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody and had his case was continued for further examination.
Last Wednesday, Allan Robertson, 26, appeared in court charged with murdering Mr Smith and attempted murder.
