Girl, ten, seriously injured after being knocked down by car

A girl has been left seriously injured after being knocked down by a car.
The ten-year-old was struck by the vehicle in Linwood, Renfrewshire, on Sunday.
Police said she was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children after the collision with the black Peugeot 207 car at around 3.30pm.
The girl was knocked over by the car on Clippens Road, near Stirling Gate, police said.
Constable Ian Murray said: "This was a serious incident which has left a young girl in a serious condition at hospital. We are still determining the circumstances surrounding the collision.
"We would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information that will help us with our ongoing investigation."
