Scott Diver, 16, was reported missing after he disappeared from his home in Clydebank.
A teenage boy missing for two weeks has been spotted on CCTV in a Co-op store on the day he vanished.
Scott Diver, 16, was reported missing after he disappeared from his home in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, on the afternoon of Saturday, September 17.
He was last seen at home on Second Avenue in the town in the early afternoon and family members reported him missing after becoming concerned.
However, police have now revealed CCTV of the youngster in a Co-op store in Clydebank at around 2.45pm after he disappeared.
Scott's father, also called Scott, and his aunt Sharon recently made an appeal to the public at Clydebank Police Office for help in finding him.
He also issued a direct plea to his son, saying: "Scotty, if you see this, please get in touch. You're not in any trouble. We just want to know you're OK and to have you home safe.
"All the family are missing you, especially your dad and your family from the Isle of Man."
Mr Diver went on: "He does rely on daily medication and he hasn't had this for days. Scotty, we love and miss you and just want you home safe and sound."
A statement from Police Scotland said: "Officers at Clydebank are continuing to appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of 16-year-old Scott Diver who has been missing since Saturday, September 17.
"Inquiries have revealed that Scott was within the Co-Operative store in Dalmuir at 2.45pm on that date and officers are now appealing to anyone who saw Scott at that time to contact the inquiry team via 101 or by email at ScottDiverInquiry@scotland.pnn.police.uk."
Inspector John Mullen from Clydebank Police Office said "Officers have been conducting extensive enquiries in the Clydebank area and beyond to try and find Scott.
"Support from the community is essential to our investigation and I would ask anyone who was in the Dalmuir area on September 17 around 2.45pm and who may have information regarding Scott to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
