Two schoolgirls knocked down by vehicle in west end of Glasgow
A 12-year-old is seriously hurt and a 13-year-old has minor injuries after the incident.
A 12-year-old girl has been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in the west end of Glasgow.
Another girl, aged 13, is also in hospital with minor injuries after the incident near Kelvinbridge.
The collision happened at around 4.55pm on Great Western Road near the junction with Belmont Lane.
Police said the girls had been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Medical staff have described their conditions as stable.
The road was closed as emergency services attended the incident.
