Another man has been arrested over post-match disorder at the Scottish Cup final.

The 30-year-old is the 64th person to be arrested in connection with alleged violence and disorder at the Hibernian v Rangers match at Hampden on Saturday, May 21, which ended in a pitch invasion.

Thousands of Hibs fans flooded on to the pitch at the national stadium in Glasgow to celebrate their team's 3-2 win over Championship rivals Rangers.

A smaller number of fans of the Ibrox side also ran on to the pitch, with some supporters from both sides involved in violent clashes.

The 30-year-old is expected to appear in court this week as a police investigation is continuing into the violence and disorder.

Officers are continuing to appeal to anyone with information that may assist their enquiries to contact the inquiry team on 0141 532 5457, or by emailing scottishcupfinalpitchinvasion@scotland.pnn.police.uk.

Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where information can be provided anonymously.
