Two arrested after bus targeted in 'machete attack'
Police were called to Glasgow's east end after reports of a disturbance on Monday night.
Two men have been arrested following reports that a bus was attacked with a machete in the east end of Glasgow.
The alleged incident took place in Alexandra Parade at around 8.30pm on Monday.
Onlookers reported seeing two young men, one armed with a machete, attacking a bus and approaching other vehicles.
A number of police vehicles were sent to the area and it is understood that the police helicopter was also deployed.
Two men were arrested shortly after the incident and no one was injured.
