Lorry and car crash on Kingston Bridge after tyre bursts
Traffic was delayed as two lanes were blocked on the M8 in Glasgow after the incident.
A lorry collided with a car on a busy motorway after it lost control when its tyre burst.
The crash happened at around lunchtime on Thursday and blocked two lanes on the M8 Kingston Bridge in Glasgow.
Emergency services attended and one person was treated at the scene but did not require hospital treatment. There were delays on the busy route west bound as a result of the crash.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a 999 call reporting a collision between a lorry and car on the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow.
"We initially sent four crews to the scene. Firefighters arrived and established no-one was trapped before providing assistance at the scene."
