Firefighters tackle blaze at derelict building in Larkhall
Around 25 firefighters were called out to Machan Avenue in the South Lanarkshire town.
Fire crews tackled a blaze at a derelict building in South Lanarkshire on Monday afternoon.
At the height of the blaze on Machan Avenue, Larkhall, around 25 firefighters were called to the scene.
A fire service spokesman said the blaze, at a building near Larkhall Congregational Church, had been reported around 2.20pm.
By around 6pm, firefighters were working to dampen down the structure.
Crews from Motherwell and Larkhall attended the blaze.
