Firefighters called to blaze at building in Glasgow
A cloud of black smoke could be seen over the Kinning Park area of the city.
A blaze at a derelict building in Glasgow prompted multiple calls to the emergency services.
Rubbish on fire on the roof of the building in Stanley Street sent a plume of black smoke over the Kinning Park area on Monday evening.
People on the nearby M8 motorway phoned emergency services to report the incident.
Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control around 6.40pm, a fire service spokeswoman said.
