A mother charged with murdering her 14-month-old baby girl has been granted bail after her second court appearance.

Sadia Ahmed, 26, is accused of killing Inayah Ahmed on April 17, at a house on Bernisdale Drive in Drumchapel, Glasgow.

She is accused of "restricting her breathing by means presently unknown" and murdering her.

Ahmed appeared in private from custody for a full committal hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court, where she was represented by lawyer Aamer Anwar.

She made no plea or declaration and was granted bail by sheriff Ian Miller.

Ahmed is expected to appear at the High Court at a later date.

Baby Inayah was taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children but died three days later on April 20.
