A man was attacked by three other men at a property in Alexandria, police said.

The assault happened between 9.30pm and 10pm on Tuesday at Craig Avenue, near to Taylor Street, Tullichewan.

The three men repeatedly struck their 34-year-old victim with weapons before running off in the direction of Tullichewan Drive.

Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where he received medical treatment for injuries to his head and body.
