A man has been arrested over the alleged rape of a woman in a Glasgow park.

The 37-year-old victim was attacked in Queen's Park in the south side of the city at night on March 30.

Police launched a major investigation and on Friday announced a 24-year-old man had been arrested and detained over the assault.

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal. The man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, April 11.
