Large fire breaks out at bus garage in Port Glasgow
Fire crews rushed to the scene on Saturday afternoon to tackle the blaze.
A large fire has broken out at a garage in Inverclyde.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service teams were dispatched to the scene on Saturday afternoon, with three engines initially called out and a further two joining after the fire grew in intensity.
The fire broke out at a bus garage on Ardgowan Street in Port Glasgow. The area has now been cordoned off by emergency services.
Massive plumes of black smoke could be seen billowing from the roof of the garage while fire fighters attempted to control the spread of the flames.
It is not yet known the extent of the damage that has been cause but a spokesperson has described the incident as "serious".
