A Rangers fan got a surprise for his birthday after cutting open his cake to find Celtic colours inside.

Iain Orr's work colleagues played the prank on the 36-year-old, who took the took the joke well.

The cake was made by Lilian Johnstone, who runs cake-making firm Cupcakes by Lilian, and the picture went viral after she posted it on her Facebook page.

She revealed Mr Orr's reaction was "fantastic", adding: "So I made another Rangers FC 'surprise' and this time I managed to see a video of the birthday boy cutting into his cake only to discover the sponge inside was green and white hoops. His reaction is fantastic."

She added: "As you can imagine I'm inundated with messages and notifications tonight which is amazing!!!

"Thanks to everyone who has commented,reacted and shared my cake. The response has been fantastic."
