Police have released CCTV images of a man sought in connection with an assault on a woman in the south side of Glasgow.

The 20-year-old was attacked at around 8.40pm on Sunday April 19, 2015, as she walked on Burnfield Road near to its junction with Thornliebank Road.

Officers have now released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Detective constable Ainsley Stewart said: "I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man from the images to get in touch with us right away because he could hold important information which could help with our investigation.

"Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 or alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 where details can be given in confidence."
