
Man dies after falling through hatch of cargo vessel at shipyard
A 21-year-old was rushed to hospital after the incident in Rosneath, Argyll and Bute.
A 21-year-old man has died after he fell through the hatch of a cargo vessel at a Scottish shipyard.
Emergency services were called to DRB Marine Services in Rosneath, Argyll and Bute around 3.45pm on Sunday.
Police Scotland said they responded to reports a 21-year-old man had fallen down the hatch of a ship.
The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he died in the early hours of Monday morning.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Inquiries are continuing."
