Ross praises Hibs' 'commitment' in Edinburgh Derby win
A first-half brace from the impressive Martin Boyle secured three points for Easter Road club.
Jack Ross said the Edinburgh Derby is "all about winning" after Hibernian won 2-0 at the home of city rivals Hearts.
A first-half brace from the impressive Martin Boyle secured three points for Easter Road club, which sees them end a run of two straight defeats.
And Ross, who has been in charge for eight matches, praised the "commitment on show" from his side.
"It's enjoyable naturally," he told Sky Sports. "I think these games are all about winning.
"You can have a plan of how you want to play within them but once the game starts they are frenetic.
"It's a lot of commitment on show and it's about finding a way to win the match. The result determines your mood afterwards, so we've got a happy dressing room at the moment."
The manager was in reflective mood as his side bounced back from consecutive defeats to Celtic and Rangers.
Ross added: "We've had a couple of knocks in the last two games but prior to that we had been good, so even in the build up to this game there was a lot of reminders to the players of what they had done well in the last five or six weeks and they showed that throughout today's game as well.
"When we came out to start the second half, that's not the plan, but we do get forced back and then we make a couple of changes to see the game out.
"I think once we get past a certain period of the second half it's about managing the game properly. I think we did that.
"We relied on Ofir [Marciano] to make a couple of good saves but I think our game management throughout the second period was good as well."
