Craig Gordon set to join list of Scotland absentees
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers expects his goalkeeper to miss the Scots' matches.
Craig Gordon is set to join the growing list of absentees for Scotland's Nations League deciders.
The Celtic goalkeeper missed the Hoops' goalless draw with Livingston and was ruled out for the Europa League win over RB Leipzig with a hip injury.
Parkhead boss Brendan Rodgers doesn't expect the 35-year-old to recover in time to face Albania and Israel.
Rodgers said: "I don't think he'll be fit for Scotland.
"He did well to get through the game with his knee and then got an injury to his hip.
"We'll assess him over the week but he won't be fit for Scotland."
Third-choice keeper Jon McLaughlin pulled out of the squad to play for Sunderland, with Kilmarnock's Jamie MacDonald called up in his place.
Manager Alex McLeish lost three of his squad to injury, with Charlie Mulgrew, Kevin McDonald and Stephen O'Donnell ruled out of action.
Scotland travel to Albania on Saturday before facing Israel three days later.
