There may be plenty of football to be played between now and the new year but it's never too early to start lining up your January transfer.
Celtic are reportedly set to move for Iranian wide man Milad Mohammadi with English Premier League side Watford also keen on the player.
Mohammadi is currently with Akhmat Grozny but is said to be keen on a move to the UK.
Rangers fans were in disbelief when Daniel Candeias was shown a second yellow card against St Mirren on Saturday and the club have now taken action with talks scheduled with the Scottish FA. It's not clear how any appeal is permitted under the rules but it's reported that the club will be allowed to state their case.
Alex McLeish has been hit with a further blow as he prepares for Scotland's Nations League double-header. Matt Ritchie has become the latest player to make himself unavailable for selection.
And with the Scotland boss has said that Steven Fletcher was the obvious choice to step up in attack with Leigh Griffiths and Steven Naismith both out.
