Scotland's Josh Taylor stopped Ryan Martin in the seventh round of their World Boxing Super Series quarter-final to set up a shot at the IBF world title.

Taylor dominated from start to finish at Glasgow's Hydro and stopped the American to stretch his perfect record to 14 professional fights .

The super-lightweight has now lined up a semi-final fight against IBF champion Ivan Baranchyk.

Should he defeat the Belarusian, he would fight for the WBA title in the final.

Taylor said: "I am very happy with the way the performance went tonight.

"I knew I was going to win the fight.

"Credit to Ryan but the fight was easy for me, I never got out of second gear.

"I'm ready for this next fight. This is me just getting started.

"I'm 100 per cent confident and I don't think there is anyone going to stop me."
