Glenn Middleton has extended his Rangers contract until the summer of 2023.

The 18-year-old joined the Light Blues in January from Norwich, initially taking his spot in the club's academy setup.

He made the step up to the first-team squad during the summer after impressing manager Steven Gerrard.

Since then, Middleton has gone on to make 12 appearances for the Ibrox side, including outings across their Europa League campaign, and scored three times.

The Scotland youth international shared his delight after putting pen to paper.

He said: "I'm absolutely delighted to have signed a new contract.

"I'm loving every moment and cannot wait for the future."
