Scotland captain Andy Robertson believes the national team showed some improvement in defeat to Portugal on Sunday.

The European champions were 3-1 winners at Hampden but Robertson felt his side took a step up in performance from the loss to Israel. However, he said that mistakes at the back were costing the team dearly game after game and the lapses would have to stop.
