Rosenborg captain warns Celtic to expect different game
The two sides clash on Thursday night having already met four times in the last 14 months.
Rosenborg captain Mike Jensen has warned Celtic that they will face a different proposition when the sides meet again on Thursday night.
The Europa League encounter at Celtic Park will see the pair clash for the fifth time in 14 months, with the Scottish champions eliminating the Norwegian side from the Champions League in each of the previous two seasons.
The two sides meet in the group stages of European competition this time around and the Danish midfielder believes that changes the dynamics of the game.
He said: "We've been here before, but its different as we are in group stage now.
"There's not as many things to think about like away goal and tactical stuff. We are just coming here to get the points. We are coming to get a result.
"A good result could also be a draw, we are playing for points not for an advantage this time .
"We will press for a goal, we can risk a bit more. We will play for points."
Rosenborg sacked manager Kare Ingebrigsten shortly before they faced Celtic in the second round of the Champions League qualifiers almost two months ago, but under new boss Rini Coolsen they have since gone undefeated in ten games, winning nine.
Jensen says their recent form gives them confidence ahead of the fixture and says their recent experience of playing in Glasgow stands them in good stead.
He added: "We've been through a very good period since we were last here. Hopefully we can do more than we did last time.
"The results and level we are playing at are better now, we have more confidence now.
"We have played here before, we know it's a great stadium, atmosphere and great team.
"I think we can use that experience but they can use it as well, so it's the same for both teams."
