Lewis Stevenson said Hibs will approach their Norwegian test full of confidence having displayed a goalscoring touch of late.

The Easter Road side put ten past NSI in their Europa League first round qualifier, before striking four times over two legs against Asteras Tripolis last time out.

Molde became the first side to shut out Neil Lennon's attack this campaign when the two sides' drew 0-0 in the first leg of the third round tie.

Stevenson, however, believes Hibs have shown enough over this campaign and last to hint they can score a "massive" goal in Scandinavia.

He said: "We'd have liked to have won the home tie but I don't think 0-0 is a bad result.

"We've still got the chance of an away goal, the tie is in the balance.

"A goal is going to be massive, it will completely change the tie.

"Scoring is something we have done well in the past and hopefully we can continue that.

"We've scored a decent amount so far this season, we look a threat going forward and have exciting players.

"We know when the game is on a knife-edge they can make the big difference."

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side kept the ball effectively for long spells at Easter Road, leaving Lennon to praise a "mature" performance from his players as they picked up a clean sheet.

Stevenson was impressed by Molde's possession-based style but said he is confidence Hibs can finish the job.

He added: "They were good, it's a totally different style to what we are used to.

"They keep the ball well, their movement is very good but we managed to limit them to just a few chances.

"It's going to be tough on their home ground and on the astro but we are confident we can do it."
