It's deadline day in England and Scottish managers will be paying keen attention to the madness until the window slams shut and the yellow ties are put away for another few months.

Most of the news at Rangers has been about the new faces Steven Gerrard has brought in, but the club is likely to be weighing up offers today with interest in Josh Windass and James Tavernier not going away.

Ipswich are keen on Windass and could act to lure him to the Championship, while West Brom have failed with one bid for James Tavernier and may come back with something closer to the asking price.

Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes is more likely to be looking at who doesn't get a move in England as he looks to recruit new players, with a striker the priority signing. He's said it's a tough market but if a forward is frozen out at his club after the window closes, it could present an opportunity.

Celtic's Moussa Dembele has been linked with a multitude of clubs over the last couple of years and Lazio are now reportedly interested if they need to dip in to the market to replace a forward.

And Neil Lennon said he has no chance of replacing John McGinn with an identikit player, insisting he's one of the best Hibs players of the last 25 years.
