Celtic will face either Malmo or Videoton in the play-off round of Champions League qualifying should they defeat AEK Athens.

The Hoops host the Greek champions at Parkhead on Wednesday, before making the trip to Athens next week.

Should Brendan Rodgers' side prevail, they will take on either Videoton or Malmo for a spot in the group stages of the Champions League group.

Celtic have faced Malmo before in the Champions League playoff round but did not enjoy success.

The Scottish champions were pitted against the Swedes in 2015 but lost 4-3 on aggregate.

Malmo have reached this stage thanks to wins over Drita in round one and Cluj at the following hurdle.

Like Celtic, Videoton also came into the competition at the first stage.

The Hungarians saw off Dudelange in round one before securing a 1-0 aggregate win over Ludogorets.
