According to reports, Rangers have had a last-minute change of heart over their move for Man City youngster Kean Bryan.
The Ibrox club were said to have offered Bryan a three-and-a-half year deal, worth around £2.5m, but apparently pulled the plug after the player's medical.
Rangers also had a £200k bid for Hearts forward Kyle Lafferty thrown out on Friday.
Across Glasgow, Celtic midfield talisman Olivier Ntcham had been linked with a move to West Ham following his impressive showing against Rosenborg.
The Hoops, however, are said to have no interest in letting the France Under 21 star leave Parkhead after one season.
Elsewhere, Hibs are reportedly on the brink of signing winger Thomas Agyepong, while Aberdeen are apparently vying with Sunderland for Forest Green Rovers forward Christian Doidge.
