Hibernian reject third Celtic bid for John McGinn
The Scotland international is entering the last year of his contract at Easter Road.
Hibernian have rejected a third bid from Celtic for John McGinn, STV understands.
The Scottish champions have already had two offers knocked back this month as they attempt to sign the Scotland international.
STV understands that although Celtic's third offer has fallen short of their valuation the Easter Road outfit are pragmatic about the prospect of McGinn leaving the club this summer.
McGinn missed the first-leg of the tie against Faroese side Runavik, a game which Hibs won 6-1, but returned for the trip to the Faroe Islands.
The transfer speculation surrounding the midfielder looked to have no effect as he scored one goal and assisted two more in the 6-4 away win.
The 23-year-old's reputation has risen with his performances at Hibernian, where he has become one of the country's leading midfielders. He has made over 100 appearances for the Edinburgh club, winning the Championship and the Scottish Cup in his time at Easter Road.
Hibs have said they are not looking to sell one of their prize assets but would consider substantial bids.
