Rangers boss Steven Gerrard said last week he wasn't done adding to his squad and news has emerged of his latest potential target.

If moves to land Jake Cooper don't come to fruition, it's reported that Rangers will turn their attention to Blackpool's Curtis Tilt to bolster their defence after Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic have already been recruited for the back line.

Across the city, Celtic are also looking at the centre of their defence but the focus is on keeping one their existing stars. Dedryck Boyata hasn't yet returned to Glasgow after helping Belgium to third place in the World Cup but he'll find a new contract offer waiting when does.

Boyata isn't the only player with a decision to make on his Parkhead situation. Rising star Mikey Johnston will chat with Brendan Rodgers before making a call on whether a loan move would be better for his development than fighting for a first team place.

Motherwell had a decision to make and found it an easy one when rejecting a bid for Ryan Bowman. The Fir Park side found Grimsby's offer to be way less than their valuation of the player so he's going nowhere.

And south of the border, Chelsea may have to decide if Real Madrid's £200m offer meets their evaluation of Eden Hazard.
