Steven Naismith has returned to Hearts on a season-long loan deal from Norwich.
The 31-year-old spent the second half of last season at Tynecastle, scoring four goals across 16 appearances for Craig Levein's side.
After being informed he didn't feature in Canaries boss Daniel Farke's plans for the coming season, Naismith has put pen to paper on another stint with the Jam Tarts.
He becomes Craig Levein's 11th summer signing as the former Scotland boss looks to better Hearts' sixth-placed finish last time out.
Naismith has previously enjoyed fruitful spells with Kilmarnock and Rangers in Scottish football.
He broke into the Kilmarnock first team as a youngster, winning the Scottish Football Writers Young Player of the Year Award in 2006 and the Player's Player trophy the following year.
Naismith won three league titles, two League Cups and a Scottish Cup after signing for Rangers in 2007.
The Scot, capped 45 times by his country, switched to Everton in 2012, before joining Norwich two years ago.
