Hearts and Norwich reach agreement on Naismith loan deal
The 31-year-old made 16 appearances and scored four goals for Hearts last season.
Norwich and Hearts have agreed a deal to allow Steven Naismith to return to Tynecastle for a second loan spell, STV understands.
The 31-year-old made 16 appearances and scored four goals after he signed on loan in January last season.
Naismith has a year remaining on his Norwich contract but is not part of manager Daniel Farke's plans for next season.
He would become Hearts boss Craig Levein's 11th summer signing, as he looks to improve on last season's sixth-placed Scottish Premiership finish.
Naismith broke into the Kilmarnock first team in season 2003/04 and won the Scottish Football Writers Young Player of the Year Award in 2006, and picked up the same award from his fellow players the following year.
The forward signed for Rangers in 2007, winning three league titles, two League Cups and a Scottish Cup, before leaving for Everton in 2012 and then joining Norwich in January 2016.
The Scot has 45 caps for his country.
