Andy Murray splits from coach Ivan Lendl for second time
Czech tennis legend has overseen all three of the Scot's grand slam victories.
Andy Murray has split from coach Ivan Lendl for a second time.
The Scot reunited with the Czech tennis legend in summer 2016 after a previous successful stint, and Lendl has overseen all three of Murray's grand slam victories.
Murray hasn't played competitively since Wimbledon as he recovers from a hip injury, but is preparing to return to the tennis circuit in January.
In a statement on Friday, he said: "I'm thankful to Ivan for all his help and guidance over the years, we've had great success and learned a lot as a team."
He added that he would continue to work with the rest of his existing team, including coach Jamie Delgado.
Lendl said: "I wish Andy well going forward. We had a great run and a lot of fun."
