Dundee's Scott Bain faces internal disciplinary action
The goalkeeper was dropped for the visit to Easter Road on Saturday.
Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain is facing disciplinary action by the club but there are no plans to rush the process.
There were reports last week of an angry exchange between the 25-year-old and Dundee boss Neil McCann following the side's 3-1 defeat to Hamilton Accies.
Seven days later, Elliott Parish was named between the sticks for the visit to Easter Road on Saturday which Hibs won 2-1.
McCann did not confirm why Bain had been dropped from his squad but said the matter was being dealt with within the club.
He said: "There is an internal discipline process and once there is something to say - when that process is done - he'll be told. There's no timeframe on that right now.
"He is still contracted to the club until the summer and I don't want to go into it right now. I'll be honest and up front when it's done. However, it would be wrong to comment right now."
