Celtic legend Henrik Larsson has been spotted dancing in an Ayr nightclub.

The Swedish superstar was videoed strutting his stuff to 90s dance classic the Macarena in Fury's Nightclub on Nile Court.

The video was then posted to Twitter by club promoter Ewan McVicar saying: "Henrik Larsson in Fury's, for real."

Larsson, who also played for Manchester United and Barcelona during a trophy-laden career, was in Ayrshire on Wednesday and Thursday playing golf at Turnberry.

He was also spotted enjoying dinner at the Ayrshire and Galloway hotel in Ayr town centre.

The 46-year-old still retains legendary status among Celtic fans after scoring 242 goals in 315 games for the club he signed for in 1997.

The forward was also pivotal in Celtic's run to the UEFA Cup final in 2003.

Fury's general manager Steven Muir said: "We were happy to welcome Henrik Larson and his friends to Furys Nightclub Ayr.

"All were super friendly and the legend obliged in taking selfies with a lot of our customers.

"Great night was had by everyone. He certainly added to our regular Thursday Party."

He posted a picture with the man known as The King of Kings to Celtic fans to his Facebook page.

"A legend turned up at the club and asked for Queue jump for his friends," he said.
