Kenny Miller axed from Rangers squad to face Hamilton
Pedro Caixinha's decision to drop the veteran striker comes after a squad meeting.
Kenny Miller has been dropped from the Rangers squad to face Hamilton Academical in Friday's Scottish Premiership clash.
Pedro Caixinha's decision to axe the veteran striker comes just days after holding a squad meeting following the 2-0 defeat to Celtic on Saturday.
At the meeting, the manager told the players in no uncertain terms that the team had to pull together.
He was also critical of Graham Dorrans for giving Miller the captain's armband when the 37-year-old came on as a substitute in the Old Firm clash.
Miller, who has scored two goals this season, was given a "break" for the club's Betfred Cup clash against Partick Thistle two weeks ago.
Rangers already trail rivals Celtic by eight points after just seven games.
