Holders Celtic have been drawn against Hibernian in the League Cup semi-finals.

Rangers take on Motherwell in the other semi-final of the competition.

Brendan Rodgers' treble winners booked their place in the draw after cruising to a 4-0 win over Dundee at Dens Park.

Rangers prevailed 3-1 against Partick Thistle after extra time, with goals from new signings Daniel Candeias and Eduardo Herrera securing the Light Blues' progress.

Motherwell brushed aside last season's runners-up Aberdeen 3-0 in the last of the quarter-final ties.

The semi-finals will take place at the national stadium on the weekend of October 21/22.
