Richard Foster charged by SFA over off-field incident
The St Johnstone defender allegedly kicked in the referee's door after the 3-2 defeat to Dundee.
St Johnstone's Richard Foster faces a ban for his behaviour following the side's 3-2 loss to Dundee on Saturday.
Foster has received a notice of complaint from the Scottish FA after the governing body's compliance officer received referee Alan Muir's match report.
The St Johnstone player was reportedly furious at Muir's decisions during the game, which included awarding Dundee a penalty and disallowing a goal by Steven Anderson.
The Scottish FA has decided that Foster has a case to answer and has charged him with excessive misconduct.
If an independent panel decided that Forster is guilty of a rule breach then he could face a ban of four matches. The case will be heard by a tribunal on October 5.
Foster was suspended for two matches last season after an on-field brawl with team-mate Danny Swanson.
