Sofien Moussa hits hat-trick to set up derby thriller
Tunisian starred in 3-0 win over Cowdenbeath ahead of clash with United.
Sofien Moussa fired a hat-trick as Dundee prepared for this weekend's derby with a 3-0 win over Cowdenbeath.
The result means Neil McCann's men go into Sunday's clash with Dundee United level on points with their city rivals, with the winners taking top spot in Group B.
The Tunisian striker opened the scoring after 17 minutes before completing his treble with seven minutes of the first half to spare.
Paul McGowan saw a drive beaten away by Joe McGovern shortly after the break and Roarie Deacon sent a lob on to the top of the net after an hour.
Dundee found it hard to live up to their first-half display but saw out a comfortable victory during the second period.
Now the city's two sides will battle it out for a place in the next round at Dens Park on Sunday.
