Defender Juwon Oshaniwa's Hearts contract cancelled
The left-back featured 25 times after arriving at Tynecastle in summer 2015.
Nigerian defender Juwon Oshaniwa's contract has been cancelled by Hearts.
The 26-year-old played just 25 times for the Tynecastle side after putting pen to paper in summer 2015 and didn't featured at all last season.
Oshaniwa spoke of his determination to get back into the Hearts side in April, but the club have now decided to bring his three-year deal to a premature end.
When he signed from the Israeli side Ashdod, his contract was to run until summer 2018.
Playing at left back, Oshaniwa was booked four times and sent off twice during his time at Hearts.
He has 17 caps for Nigeria but hadn't received a call up to the Super Eagles since his move to Hearts.
