Craig Gordon is approaching Scotland's World Cup qualifier against England with the same mentality Scottish Premiership clubs have when they take on Celtic.

The goalkeeper is used to clubs trying to be the side who end Celtic's incredible unbeaten run but on Saturday the shoe will be on the other foot.

Scotland will take on the Auld Enemy at Hampden as they look to end the Three Lions' run of 34 unbeaten qualifying matches.

The last time England dropped all three points was in October 2009 when they lost 1-0 away to Ukraine.

"There is no bigger international game for us," the 34-year-old said. "Whoever plays England, they want to beat them and we are probably at the top of that list.

"We can't wait to get started, it's a great opportunity for us to have a go and be the team that is the first to beat them in a long time.

"Playing at Celtic, teams have tried to do that all season, be the team that beats us, now that's changed around and we've got the opportunity to be the team that beats England."
