Greg Taylor scored the only goal as the Scots get their first win in France.
Scotland U20s secured their first win of the Toulon Tournament with a 1-0 over Brazil in France.
Kilmarnock's Greg Taylor scored the only goal of the game to earn all three points for the Scots, who now go second in Group C.
Scotland suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Czech Republic in their opening match, despite a double from Oliver Burke.
But the win against Brazil means the Dark Blues go into the final game against Indonesia knowing a win could see them qualify for the next round.
Despite Brazil starting the brighter, Taylor found the top corner with a fantastic strike to give the Scots a 1-0 lead at half time.
Brazil continued to enjoy possession in the second half but resolute defending from the Scots secured the victory.
Czech Republic top Group C with six points, Scotland and Brazil are on three points with Indonesia bottom of the group with no points from their first two games.
