Celtic coach John Kennedy believes the club's treble win adds to the list of things that make them attractive to potential signings.

The champions completed a clean sweep of trophies and completed an unbeaten domestic season with a win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final and now aim to build on that success next season.

To that end, Brendan Rodgers is looking to add to his squad and Kennedy said the treble win was eye-catching for players but the club already had a lot in its favour.

"I think it's put us up there publicly," he said. "Everyone can see the achievements that have been made but I think our style is also a big thing.

"Playing in front of the support we have here is another big thing. There's a lot of things at this club that would be attractive to anyone who wants to come and play here.

"It's a terrific stage to play on every week so we're in a very, very good place. We've got a terrific group of players and it's all about us.

"It's not about looking at others and concentrating on other teams, it's just about Celtic. If players want to come here and play then that's terrific."

The coach said targets had already been identified and the plan was to bring in "one or two" new faces.

"We've obviously got people in mind that could improve the squad but it's very difficult at times to get it done," he said.

"At the same time, we've got a very good group and we don't want to make too many changes because what we've just achieved has been something very special.

"If we can bring one or two in who make the team better then that's terrific but if not, we're fine with what we've got."

Kennedy also gave an update on full-back Kieran Tierney, who suffered a serious facial injury at Hampden.

Tierney is prepared to wear a gumshield to protect himself so that he can still play for Scotland against England next week and Kennedy said it showed the kind of player he is.

"He's in a good place," he said. "I'm surprised, in a way, that he's doing so well but maybe not surprised because of the character he is.

"The last I spoke to him he was enjoying some sunshine in Spain and he's meeting up with Scotland soon so it's back to business for him.

"As long as the medical team are happy for him to do that then he'll be out on the pitch for sure."
