Ryan Jack and Ash Taylor are among a number of players confirmed to be leaving Aberdeen at the end of the season.

Neil Alexander, Peter Pawlett and Niall McGinn will also depart the Pittodrie club.

A statement issued late on Wednesday night said Cammy Smith and Lawrence Shankland, who had been on loan at St Mirren, were leaving as well as goalkeeper Aaron Lennox who spent time with Raith Rovers.

Smith has signed a permanent deal with St Mirren while Pawlett has previously signed a pre-contract agreement with MK Dons.

The statement added: "After the conclusion of his loan spell Ryan Christie has returned to his parent club.

"As was announced earlier U20 players Robbie Mutch, Jamie Henry, Dylan Thomas, Aaron Norris and Joe Nuttall have also left the club.

"Everyone at Aberdeen FC would like to thank all the players who are leaving for their tremendous commitment to the club, in some cases over many years, and wish them all the very best for the future."
