Scott Sinclair looked ahead after Celtic sealed a domestic treble and said the team will aim for a repeat performance next season.

The Premiership and League Cup winners added the Scottish Cup to their trophy haul and completed a domestic season without defeat.

Sinclair reflected on a landmark season where he was named as Player of the Year before looking to the challenges ahead.

"I think next season we do it again," he said. "Obviously there's the Champions League and we want to reach the group stages and progress better than we did this year.

"We keep the tight group which the manager will want and we hopefully build in that competition.

"It's not just that. Obviously we want to do as well as we can and keep picking up trophies along the way, leagues and all the titles but a main factor is to do well in Europe.

"It's up to the manager [if the squad is good enough for that]. It's up to him to decide but we can just enjoy what we've done right now and celebrate tonight."

Though looking ahead and setting targets for next season, Sinclair said that the key to success this season had been to concentrate on the small steps and let the journey take care of itself.

"At the start of the season we never thought we would do the invincible treble but all we've done is take each game as it comes and I think that's the best way to do it," he said.

"It got right up to the last day of the season, today, and we knew what was at stake and had to go and do it."
