Mark Reynolds could make his Scotland debut after being included in Gordon Strachan's squad for the first time in two years.

The Aberdeen defender has been named in the pool for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against England on June 10.

He has been included eight times in the past, with his last call-up coming in summer 2015 when Scotland drew 1-1 away to Ireland, but is still to make his debut.

Reynolds' Aberdeen teammate Kenny McLean and Brighton's Jamie Murphy could also make their first team bow.

Murphy's only previous inclusion was for Denmark friendly last year while McLean was included for the Czech Republic clash the same week. Neither has featured since.

Grant Hanley, Lee Wallace, Matt Phillips, Matt Ritchie, Oliver Burke and Jordan Rhodes drop out from the squad that was named against Slovenia.
